The story of our brand is as much about providing good quality equipment and experiences as it is about supporting global projects that encourage people to play golf where they may not have been able to before.
‘The Golfway Project’ is all about getting people to learn, play and enjoy golf for the good of the game. We have a number of exciting stories that show how the impact of Golfway is working alongside the Golf Foundation to create new golfers and support junior development in the sport.
Royal St. Georges, UK
Golfway was swinging into action in fine style during the Open Championship weekend in July 2021 using The R&A SwingZone, at Royal St George’s.
Our equipment is at the core of the Golf Foundation’s HSBC Golf Roots programme which will give a first go at golf to two million children from all backgrounds, in 7,500 schools, over the next five years.

High-energy, inclusive games and children’s laughter in Edgbaston – golf was right at the centre of a major city scheme in Birmingham to keep kids active, healthy and happy during the summer of 2021.
Some 90 children from different backgrounds enjoyed golf games with their community group leaders and volunteers using Golfway equipment supplied by the Golf Foundation.

Following an initial discussion and planning with William Beck (President, Malta Golf Association), Chris Smith visited Malta in 2015 to introduce the idea of ‘ShortGolf’.
This was followed by five subsequent visits to the island where the former touring PGA Professional delivered coaching programmes and implemented a robust framework for coaches in school to follow up until the present day.
